This class provides a thorough abdominal workout with varying exercises, targeting each muscle from different angles. Many of the exercises are shown first, then done in rhythm with music, keeping it fun and motivating.
The class is broken down into 6 parts:
1-Warm up involving cardio & stretch targeting the mid section.
2-Pilates style core work from upper body exercises.
3-The crunch & sit up section that is fast paced.
4-More ab work from Pilates leg movements.
5-If the class is up to it, then we add in the 'Core Contest' (with prizes!!).
6-Back exercises & stretch/cool down.
Mats are at the gym, so just bring a towel & H2o bottle, if desired, and wear comfortable clothing - shoes are optional.
