Hey Everybody! I'm a long time Northwest resident, coming to Community Fitness with a life of exercise, sports and training under my belt. As a youngster I raced BMX bikes on the local and national circuits, and really enjoy extreme and alternative sports!
Since age 8, I have studied various martial arts, including; Tae Kwon Do, Karate, western boxing, Muay Thai boxing, Judo and Ju Jitsu. Currently, I enjoy training and participating in mixed martial Arts.
I've spent the past 4 years training people one on one. This experience has served me well in the group setting and allows me to reach individual participants more effectively in class.
I also have a strong interest in nutrition, and it plays a major role in my personal training and lifestyle.
Organic farming and permaculture have helped complete my understanding of health and fitness, and I've been able to see the connection of environment, diet, lifestyle, and community to ones overall well being.
