Katrina has studied movement forms most of her life: she enjoyed ballet, tap, and gymnastics classes as a child, and studied modern dance, karate, and choreography in college. “Finding Nia was like coming home,” she says. “Now I truly regard my body as a sacred space and I am more apt to make choices that create health in my body—and in my mind. Before Nia, I was so hard on myself while dancing, and in the rest of my life too. Now I am more likely to look at myself through loving eyes no matter I do, which is a terrific freedom.” It is her desire to share the Joy of Movement and to facilitate self-love, self-healing, and wellness for others.
