Roz is a life-long social dancer who discovered R & B line dance several years ago, and has been devoted to it ever since. She studied in Oakland with Jewel Lucas, and dances in Seattle with a group of older adults who perform R & B line dances at schools, festivals and parties. Roz spent her working life as a pottery and t'ai chi instructor, and as a writer/editor. She graduated from Vassar with  honors in Anthropology, and dropped out half-way through a PhD in Social Psychology at Columbia to pursue art and music.
