At Community Fitness, we’re about challenge and inspiration, not competition. Our instructors focus on technique so you work safely and see results quickly!
Our Barre Class blends together the best of many worlds: ballet, Pilates and strength conditioning. You’ll get a comprehensive workout as you lift and tone your muscles through small, isolated movements. Our instructors will target each of your muscle groups to the point of exhaustion and then stretch those muscles in a way that promotes long, lean growth instead of bulk. Each Barre Class is typically broken into four blocks: upper body, leg work, glutes and abdominals. Utilize light weights, exercise balls, resistance bands and the ballet barre to strengthen and tone the body. Exercise is accompanied by music and a relaxing final stretch. Classes are traditionally done barefoot or with socks.
