Urban Shimmies
East meets the West in this eclectic mix of Middle Eastern and Western music and dance styles, including bhangra, hip hop and an array of belly dance forms. Combine all of these styles with a touch of creativity from the world of burlesque and samba dancing and a new form of dance isolation is born. You can expect a solid cardio workout, but be ready to also tone and shape your arms, abs and glutes.
Urban Shimmies focuses on isolations and core strengthening while creating dance routines to traditional Arabic beats mixed with popular dance tracks. Classes are taught barefoot. Wear comfortable clothes that allow for a full range of movement.
