Chris Daigre

For over 20 years, Chris has been teaching dance and fitness classes to all ages and all levels. He combines dance and specialized core and stretch movements in a fun and accessible format to meet the specific needs of the people in his class. Chris’s dance background stems from his youth and is based in Afro Latin Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop. He has choreographed numerous musicals for the 5th Avenue Theatre, Broadway Bound Children’s Theater, and Seattle Theatre Group, including HAIR, The Wizard of Oz, Dreamgirls, Grease and FAME.

Certified in personal training by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Chris values physical fitness as a means to greater confidence and self-esteem for clients and class participants. He continues to teach dance fitness classes to youth in public and private schools all over the county, and loves seeing students gain self-confidence in learning and performing a dance routine with their peers. In addition to teaching dance, Chris finds fulfillment in working one on one with adults who have physical limitations from injury and designing fitness programs that help them with daily functional activities.

Chris believes dance and its health benefits should be a part of everyday life.
