“There is no limit to what you can achieve and experience. Movement is life. Come, let us move together.”
Deborah teaches the ancient arts of Wu Dang Qi Gong and Tai Chi as unique, low-impact practices or as cross-training to balance with other exercise and fitness workouts. She brings rich experience to her Qi Gong and Tai Chi classes, including more than thirteen years teaching internal and martial arts, training as a 2nd Degree Black Belt, apprenticeship and assistant-ship with two Wu Dang Grand Masters and study with many masters and teachers. Deborah is also a competitor: she is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winner in Regional and National Tai Chi Forms and martial art competitions.
A 6th Generation Wu Dang Gate High Master, Deborah is also a Certified Instructor in several Tai Chi for Health styles and former Clinic Faculty at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. But don’t find her long list of accomplishments intimidating; Deborah has a big heart and keeps the focus on her students. Movements are natural and done at the pace and intensity chosen by each student.
A little known fact about Deborah is that she used to own a business that booked circus performers for non-circus jobs: fire-eaters, sword swallowers, jugglers, clowns and tightrope walkers.
