Jennifer Lucero-Earle

“Your body is precious. It is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care.” – Buddha

Jennifer was born and raised in New York, and relocated to Seattle in 2005. She is an ardent believer in the powers of movement and has participated in the movement arts since 1993. Jennifer discovered Nia in 2003 as part of her graduate training in the Experiential Health and Healing program at the Graduate Institute in Connecticut. The experience was transformative, becoming the foundation for her ongoing exploration of kinesthetic awareness and the somatic healing arts.

Jennifer is a certified Nia Blue Belt and Nia 5 Stages instructor. Jennifer believes that Nia is more than just a way to get fit. Nia is also lifestyle practice rooted in sensory awareness, joy, pleasure and love for your body as it is now and for its potential to transform. She facilitates classes lovingly with mindfulness, openness, and a healthy dose of playfulness. Her classes are designed to make it easy for anyone to step right in, at any age, level or experience. She promises you will sweat and move every part of your body, even your eyes. And she will always remind you to tweak your movements when you feel pain so that you are constantly seeking pleasure in your dance. Jennifer’s maiden name, Lucero, means “bright star.” She is excited to move, groove and share her light with you.

A little known fact about Jennifer is that at 5’2”, Jennifer is the tallest woman in her family.
