Come check out her BodyPump class on Sundays at 10:45am at our Roosevelt Way Play Studio, and read on to learn more about Sue and her classes…
When you aren’t at Community Fitness, what do you do?
Play with my kids, swing Kettlebells, surf the Internet, ready mysteries, walk or run!
How did you discover BodyPump, and what do you love most about it?
I have been lifting weights on my own for many years. I attended a BodyPump class at the local gym and found I loved lifting weights to great music in a group setting. What I love most about BodyPump is how quickly the time flies when you work out with an energetic group of people, as well as the music and variety of each class.
What is something not many people know about you?
I qualified for the 2000 World Duathlon Championship in France!
What’s your favorite way to spend a day or night off?
Date night with my husband, or a movie night with the family at home … with lots of homemade popcorn.
If you could instantly master any skill/superpower/talent/knowledge, what would it be?
Pull-ups, pistol squats, and singing.
What are you most passionate about?
My family and fitness!
I regularly set new goals for myself, whether in fitness, life, or career. It keeps me motivated when things get tough, and it keeps life interesting!
Any good movies, books, bands, or discoveries lately that you’d recommend?
HGTV. It’s amazing to see the transformation of a completely run-down home into a masterpiece.
