We’ve got a lot of class changes coming up, and we know it can be hard to keep track! Read on for all the latest and greatest — new formats, new instructors, and more — all in one place. We will update this post with more info as it becomes available. 


Kat knows how to jam

NEW FORMAT: We know, we offer a lot of dance fitness formats … it can be overwhelming. But we also know that each class and each instructor offers a unique vibe, array of music, and personal style, which adds up to a unique (and awesome) experience. So with that, we are pleased to offer MixxedFit® with Kat! MixxedFit is a people-inspired dance fitness program that combines explosive dancing and boot camp toning. Come check it out and learn more here! Mondays at 6:30pm and Sundays at noon.

MORE YOGA WITH BEN… The fantastic Ben Grieshaber will now teach Monday 5:30 and 6:35pm Yoga classes. If you’ve never tried his class, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go! For now, check out this Q&A with Ben or read his bio here.

… AND MORE ZUMBA WITH DAREN: Yes, it’s super sad that Tuesday noon Zumba is now canceled. But it also means that Daren now teaches Friday noon Zumba, so you can shake it with him twice a week … Wednesday (also at noon) and Friday!

WELCOME  NEW INSTRUCTORS: We’ve got not one, not two, but THREE new instructors making their debut at Community Fitness, and we want to give them the warm welcome they deserve. First up, Sue Gallas has already started teaching BodyPump on Sundays at 10:45am. Next, introducing Tammara Bode, who will teach Cycling Monday at 6am beginning May 23, and Amy Lenhardt, who will teach Barre Thursday at 10:45am beginning May 26. Stay tuned for bios and more info about Tammara and Amy, and meanwhile, check out this Q&A with Sue!


Get Dance Powered with Jennifer

GET POWERED UP: The undeniably rad Jennifer will now teach Dance Powered on Wednesday at 7:35pm. Seriously, her high-powered hip-hop moves are addicting, and you’ll be releasing your inner bad-ass before you know it. Learn more and watch her promo video here!

YOUR WORKOUT – OUR EQUIPMENT: Don’t forget, we now offer Open Gym hours, free for members and 10-class pack holders! That means you can enjoy our beautiful studio space and a variety of functional fitness equipment on your own time and your own terms, when our classes aren’t in session. Learn more here.

BABY BLUES: We’ve missed Annika since she stepped away from her Ruby class to give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby, but guess what? Keep an eye out for Annika in the next couple weeks … she will be co-teaching with Patience as she eases back into classes.

    I sure miss the pedal and pulse class on Wed – any chance of offering one on that day ?

    • Hi Debbie,

      We still have a Pedal & Pulse at 7:20pm at our Power studio, but no plans for another anytime soon. Things can always change in the future, so keep an eye out on our schedule page of the website for new class changes and additions.
