Katelyn found her passion teaching fitness classes. She believes sweating is best done to Drake, with a focus on opening the hips, grounding and building strength, challenging our balance, and embracing playfulness. With a focus on music, Katelyn curates each playlist with music you want to dance to, creating an experience felt through the body.
Katelyn believes class is a community and strives to create an environment where we work out together. An environment of encouragement, with a focus on our own breath and body; one where friendships are built as we lift each other up through the high and low planks.
She became a 200-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Instructor) in 2015. While working as a personal chef and teaching ten classes a week, Katelyn added Barre to her certifications and began adding barre classes to her schedule. Adding certifications through the years, Katelyn found her main passion to be teaching and helping others build strength and power through fitness. She is pursuing her personal training certification through NASM.
Outside of the studio, Kate loves reading Science Fiction novels, sipping on tequila and lounging in a hammock, hitting the latest pun slam in Ballard, and soup dumplings all day, every day.
