Barre, Barre Above

Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. -Lou Holtz

Formerly a high school cheerleader, Amanda started teaching fitness classes in college and never looked back. She has taught many formats including step, indoor cycling, core conditioning, strength, BOSU, Tabata and barre. With 20 years of teaching experience under her belt, she prides herself on getting to know each of her students, encouraging them to have fun in class while challenging them to do their best. She will tell stories and make you laugh, to the point when you didn’t think you could squat any lower or work any harder. Her goal is to have you walk out of class with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on your face.

Amanda has a B.S. in Fitness and Sport Management and is ACE certified. She loves running, cycling and swimming and has participated in many half marathons and triathlons. Her favorite and most fulfilling job to date is being a mom to her two young children who constantly keep her busy and make her laugh.

A little known fact about Amanda is that she grew up on a dairy farm in Eastern Washington.
