The concepts of yoga and mindfulness can have a positive and lasting effect for adults, but they’re also great ways to manage the stress and anxiety of growing up. As a yoga and mindfulness instructor as well as a parent, Karen Bullard was inspired to bring these teachings to young people!
WHAT: This 11-week series introduces young people to the concepts of yoga and mindfulness. In Teen and Tween Yoga, students will learn how to relax their minds and strengthen their bodies, using relaxation and postural techniques to help them cope with the stress and anxiety of growing up.
WHO: Middle-to-high schoolers (roughly 12-16 y/o). If you have children 11 and younger interested in Yoga, check out our Kids’ Yoga class!
