Studio Coordinator Position
  • 5.5 hours minimum per week
  • Sundays 8:30am – 2:00pm
  • Ability to flex and cover other shifts

Studio Coordinators fill a fast-paced, task-oriented position made up of customer service, fitness equipment set-up, recording/live-stream operations, website updates, front desk administrative projects, laundry, and cleaning and sanitizing the facilities. Candidates must be self-starters who are comfortable working independently. Due to the in-depth training required for this position, we ask candidates to make a commitment to remain in the position for at least 1 year.

$20.00/hour

Coordinator Information

Studio Coordinators are key to the success of our business and fill a fast-paced, task-oriented position at Community Fitness made up of customer service, fitness equipment set-up, live-stream operations, website updates, administrative projects, laundry, and cleaning and sanitizing the facilities. We are an independently-owned health club specializing in group fitness, so you won’t find rows of equipment at our studios. We’ve brought together a team of world-class fitness instructors to provide a broad selection of classes to our clients with the long-term vision of strengthening and enriching the community around us.
We are looking for a multi-faceted creative person with strong communication skills who supports our holistic approach to health and can represent this to our community, both in speech and action by connecting with many different types of people in a caring, authentic manner. Candidates must be self-starters who are comfortable working independently, and must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, carry items up and down stairs, and bend, twist, squat, reach, push, or pull in order to access and move equipment. We provide a set weekly schedule so that our team members can plan their outside activities around their employment schedule. Shifts range from 2-6 hours in length, and there are opportunities to work from 1-5 days per week.  We value a diverse workforce and encourage applicants from all walks of life to apply. Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in fitness, health, hospitality, retail and/or customer service industry
  • Dynamic leadership experience with a team of peers
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical skills and creative problem solving
  • Ability to track multiple activities and competing priorities at once while maintaining a positive attitude
  • A sense of humor and a general willingness to try new things
  • Interest in to brainstorming ideas for projects and programs
  • Confident learning/using the Microsoft Office suite, database software, and Google applications

Floating Studio Coordinators manage all of the tasks of our Studio Coordinators, but do not have permanently assigned shifts.  Floating Coordinators flex to cover vacations, sick days, special events, or open positions.  Floating Coordinators may sign up to work as many shifts as they would like, but must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month to maintain active status.

Custodial Coordinators manage the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities and work when the studios are closed to the public. Daily tasks may include:  vacuuming, dry mopping, wet mopping, low-medium height dusting, sanitizing drinking fountains, cleaning bathrooms, spot cleaning studio mirrors, spot cleaning interior windows, taking out trash/recycling. Monthly tasks may include:  full cleaning of studio mirrors, full cleaning of interior/exterior windows, upper height/ceiling/wall dusting, cleaning of fitness equipment, cleaning of storage areas, etc. Candidates must be self-starters who are comfortable working independently, and must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, carry items up and down stairs, and bend, twist, squat, reach, push, or pull in order to access and move equipment. Due to the in-depth training required for this position, we ask candidates to make a commitment to remain in the position for at least 1 year.
