Studio Coordinator (Part-time) - Starting August/September 2025

We are looking to welcome a Studio Coordinator to join our family-run, heart-led team to manage front desk operations and studio facilities and equipment. This position can start in August or September 2025 and cover the following shifts:

  • Tuesdays 4:30pm - 8:45pm and Wednesdays 4:30pm - 8:10pm (approx. 8 hours/week)

  • Available to cover occasional vacations or sick days for other shifts during the week

Studio Overview. Community Fitness is a 19-year-old local fitness studio with a focus on group fitness and a long-term vision to strengthen and enrich the community around us. Led by elite instructors, our fitness classes include dance fitness, strength training, weight training, Pilates, barre and yoga. But we don’t just build fitness – we build joy, confidence and community. And we do this through providing a supportive and welcoming environment for people who want to get and stay healthy while keeping it real and having fun.

About the Role. Studio Coordinators help bring our business goals to life by ensuring each workout is the most energizing and uplifting part of someone’s day as soon as they walk in the door till they leave smiling. In addition, Studio Coordinators fill a fast-paced, task-oriented position consisting of in-person customer service, fitness equipment set-up, recording/live-stream operations for our on-demand program, website updates, front desk administrative projects, laundry, and basic cleaning and sanitizing of the facility. This would be a great fit for you if you enjoy engaging with others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented and reliable, are comfortable working independently and like problem-solving.

Minimum Commitment. Due to the in-depth training required for this position, we ask candidates to make a commitment to remain in the position for at least 1 year. (The average tenure of our current Studio Coordinators is 2 years.) We use fixed staff schedules to provide our team members with the ability to consistently plan for other employment, education, family, or personal obligations. However, we require that our Studio Coordinators have the flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts so we can continue to provide a generous Paid Time Off benefit.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $21.00/hour, adjusted annually by rounding up the prevailing minimum wage in Seattle to the nearest full dollar.

  • Base hourly salary is increased by $1/hour after each additional year of employment, through the first five years of tenure (i.e., the current salary range, based on tenure, is $21-$26/hour.)

  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO), consisting of vacation and sick leave, that can be used for any purpose at any time, accrued at 1 hour for every 20 hours worked. Accrued PTO is cashed out for employees who complete their employment at the studio in good standing.

  • 6 holiday bonuses paid out to all staff on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • Free in-studio and virtual memberships.

  • A rockin’ staff t-shirt and hoodie!
