Since its inception in 2001, the Zumba® program has grown to become the world’s largest dance-fitness program with over 12 million people taking weekly Zumba classes around the world. That said, Zumba® doesn’t appear to be a one-time wonder. It has given a total body makeover to traditional aerobics, infusing it with spice, attitude and addictive Latin beats. Classes are exhilarating, fat-burning dance attacks –  a typical class burns between 500 and 1000 calories. People love Zumba classes, however, because they don’t feel like workouts. In fact, Zumba® is considered exercise in disguise. We agree – going to the gym should not be a grind. Join the Zumba® party.

Don’t worry if you haven’t danced in years (or at all for that matter). Zumba® was designed to get everyone on the floor. After a quick warm-up, you’ll feel the rhythm in a song or two. We have twin projector screens which enable our participants to really see what our instructors are doing on stage. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and athletic shoes that don’t have too much grip (a bigger tread can sometimes make it difficult to pivot or turn quickly). Keep moving and breathing, and before you know it, you’ll know the difference between Cumbia and Merengue.
